Bluffdale sits at the foot of the Traverse Mountains at the southern tip of the Salt Lake valley. The City is conveniently situated about 20 miles from Salt Lake City, home to the University of Utah, and about 20 miles from Provo, home to Brigham Young University.
Characteristics that make Bluffdale particularly inviting to residents include the Jordan River which runs through the middle of the City, and a rural agrarian lifestyle.
